Just wondering I placed three threads on this forum and
did not get a reply. Was my question unclear or did I not state
my HW problem answer properly?
Just trying to get some help and it appears that many have reviewed the post but no replies.
Sorry, there are sometimes language problems - sometimes mother-tongue related and sometimes esoteric field-related. In your case, the very specific knowledge of business accounting may be lacking in the present volunteer set. You know I have taken a few shots at a few of them, but it really is not quite my field. I would suggest only that you keep trying and keep trying to make your questions more generally understandable. Unfortunately, your questions, though requiring some sort of mathematics, are more business related. If I knew what book to go read, I'm sure I could deal with your questions, but it would take sometime. I presume your schedule is tighter that that. Ultimately, when you finish your degree, you can come back and help any students with similar problems.
I realize you posted in "Business Math". There are levels for everything. More advanced students will not find lower levels satisfactory. I probably could tell you more about Martingales than stock mergers. There is just so much mathematics to know. No matter your field, you will find holes in the education of others, just as they will find holes in your education. I'm not sure there is a solution to your valid concerns, excpeting patience.
