When you are looking at an hourly employee payroll sheet it has the exemptions, rate, hrs, ot hours, pay, ot pay, total pay, FICA, tax, misc., and net pay. So for the first one i need to find the pay. Do i need to multiply the rate by hours. for example the rate is $10.00 and the Hrs are 40. So it should be $10.00@ 40= $400.00? Then to find OT pay i take $10.00@2 OTHrs and then multiply by 1.5= $120.00. I hope i am on the right track. Thanks in advance for any input.
