    replace R with 294.50, and solve for x

    or, did you know to do that but having trouble solving the equation?

    actually i got stuck...

    294.50=x(25-1/2x)
    589=50x-x^2
    we get x^2-50x+589=0
    now solving this quadratic equation we get x1=19 and x2=31
    now hat should i choose the value of x?

    say both. we can obtain that revenue by selling two different quantities, either 19 or 31.
