    Red face Percentage

    Hi
    I find some problems doing this exercise:

    The following table shows the development in the average market price in DKK for a big Flat Panel Television from 2004 to 2007. The stated prices are the prices at the end of the year.
    In the same table the inflation for the respective years is stated as well.

    Year--- Price in DKK ---Inflation in pct.
    2004 ---24,000 -------------2,5
    2005 ---16,000------------- 2,8
    2006--- 12,000------------ 3.0
    2007--- 8,000 -------------2.6
    a) Convert the prices to 2005 prices.
    b) Calculate index numbers based on 2005 prices and with 2004 as base year.
    B) \frac{24000}{16000}x100=150%
    I do not understand how to do A) variant? how understand convert?
