Thread: Month sell plan allocation in finance institution

Hi,
let's assume that we have a financial company that has some branches. This company sets some selling plans every month. Every branch has some part of this plan. Are there any tools, algorithms, programs or anything that would help to solve allocation problem?

I would like to allocate plan (which is set globally) between all branches and it have to be done fairly.

It's a bit like:
I have 100 apples and want to give them to 10 kids but no kid gets 10 apples:
how do I give 'em out?
