Thread: Plotting graph on Log Scale

I've to plot graph of frequency v/s amplitude. I've data which is plotted on linear scale. I want plot it on semi-log scale where X-axis will have frequency & Y-axis will have amplitude data plotted. Can I plot it from linear to log? How to do it?

Simply take either log base 10 of your y data, or take the ln of your y data. (ie. If you have the point (1, 3.2) on your linear plot, use either (1, log(3.2)) or (1, ln(3.2)) to get your semi-log plot.)
