Qd=60-18log p
qs=-40+32log p
60-18logp = 40+32log p
100=18 log p + 32 log p
100= 50 log p
2= log p
p= 10^2=100
Q= 24


how did they get 24?

Disclaimer: I don't know anything about 'Business Math'.

However, could it be the following:
You calculate that p= 10^2=100

So could Q= 24 be a typing error? Shouldn't it be Qd= 24 ? This because:
Qd=60-18log p
Qd=60-18log 100=24

But than again, I don't know what Qd or Qs stands for so I could be completely wrong
