S = lw + wh + lh

2. $S = lw + wh + lh$
$S=w(l+h)+lh$
$S-lh=w(l+h)$
$\frac{S-lh}{l+h}=w$

$lw + wh = S - lh$ (multiplied by -1 here)
$w(l + h) = S - lh$
$w= \frac {S - lh}{l+h}$
