Instructions are: In a right triangle, find the length of the side not given.

The sides that are given are, b=1, c=sqrt5

This is what I have done:

a^2+b^2=c^2

a^2+1^2=sqrt5^2

a^2+1=5

a^2+1-1=5-1

a^2=4

a=2

Have I got it?
