Inductive reasoning
Ok first off let me start by saying I am 34 years old just now headed back to school so it has been a good while since I have done any math. The question I have to answer is
Use inductive reasoning to decide whether the conclusion for each argument is correct or incorrect. Show at least 3 specific examples as part of my inductive reasoning.
1. If a number with three or more digits is divisible by 4, then the last two digits of the number are divisible by 4.
My problem is I couldn't remember all the tips and tricks from school so I looked online and supposedly that is correct. But I have a number, actually a couple numbers that would make that incorrect. So this is where I am baffled.
If you take 100/4=25 but 00/4=0 so its a 3 digit number and to me would make that statement false but according to the things I find online the statement is correct. Any help would be appreciated. Same goes for like 200/4=50 00/4=0. Hmm
Thank you.

Hi Ancobaca, and good luck with your return to school and to mathematics.
The number 0 is considered to be divisible by any number. In particular, 4×0 = 0, so 0 is a multiple of 4 and thus 0 is divisible by 4. Any number ending in 00 is a multiple of 4. Also, the last two digits give you the number 0, and that agrees with the rule that if a number is a multiple of 4 then its last two digits form a multiple of 4.
