f(x)=1/2(x+2)^2 + 7

vertex= (-2,7), line of symmetry is (-2), the maximum is 7

am I right? if not just say no and I will try again.

Very close...its not a maximum. Its a minimum, since the coefficient of $\left(x+2\right)^2$ is positive (which means the parabola opens upwards [like a smile])

Everything thing else is correct. (the line of symmetry is the equation x=-2)
