    Polynomial investigation

    Investigate the solutions of a polynomail equation of the form az^3+bz+c=0 where at least one of teh solutions is not a real number (has i in it).
    - abitrarily choose values for a,b,c
    -all solutions must be present

    Have a look at this Cubic Formula -- from Wolfram MathWorld, especially from equation 15 onwards. I think it will give you the answer you need.
