I'm consistently getting confused on how to rearrange equations. For example, the following from an exercise that I'm attempting:

$x^\frac{1}{3} (10x^{2} - x^{-2})$

simplifies to...

$10x^\frac{7}{3} - x ^{-\frac{5}{3}}$

Would appreciate a step by step on this one please and if anyone can point me towards a general tutorial on this type of thing, I's be most grateful.

Expand : $10\:x^\frac{1}{3} x^{2} - x^\frac{1}{3} \:x^{-2}$

$a^{n}\:a^{p} = a^{n+p}$

$10\:x^{\frac{1}{3}+2} - x^{\frac{1}{3}-2}$

$10\:x^{\frac{7}{3}} - x^{-\frac{5}{3}}$
