A is due north of B means that if you are moving form B to A, you are moving in north direction.

so if im looking at player 11 and player 10 is directly north, players 10 would be thw answer?

Typically most maps have the north direction up the page. South would be down the page. West would be to the left and East to the right.

If you hold the map upside down, the north direction of the map does not change, but your viewing of it does.

You need to determine the north direction FROM player #11. If the NORTH ARROW is shown, then construct a line parallel to the north arrow through player #11, it should intersect the play due north of player #11.
