    Exclamation combining functions

A gas tank on a dock has a small puncture and is leaking gas at the rate of
1cm^3/min into a lake. It forms a circular slick that is 1 mm thick on the surface of the water.

Find the amount of gas leaked as a function of time?

Does the question actually say this? If it does, then the volume of gas, V\text{ cm}^3, that has leaked at time t min, is simply V= t.

A more interesting question would be "How fast is the radius of the slick increasing?"
