I will do 2nd question, first one try yourself

1/6[1/2(1-2n)+1/3]=n/3

$\Rightarrow \frac1{12}(1-2n)+\frac1{18}=\frac {n}{3}$

$\Rightarrow \frac1{12}-\frac{n}{6}+\frac1{18}=\frac {n}{3}$

$\Rightarrow \frac {n}{3}+\frac{n}{6}=\frac1{12}+\frac1{18}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{3n}{6}=\frac{5}{36}$

$\Rightarrow n=\frac{5}{18}$

3. Hello, econlover!

I don't agree with their answer . . .

$-\left(\frac{y}{2} + \frac{1}{16}\right) \;=\;3\left(\frac{y}{16} - \frac{1}{12}\right)$

Answer: . $\frac{9}{13}$ . ??

We have: . $-\frac{y}{2} - \frac{1}{16} \;=\;\frac{3y}{16} - \frac{1}{4}$

Muliply by 16: . $-8y - 1 \;=\;3y - 4$

Therefore: . $-11y \;=\;-3 \quad\Rightarrow\quad y \;=\;\frac{3}{11}$

4. no wonder i could not find the answer! Thanks a lot Soroban!
