    Writing equations

    Write the equation 3x-6y=2x+4y-1 in standard form

    Write the equation -2(3x+1)-9=3y-7 in slope y intercept form

    Standard means equal to zero
    Move everything to one side:
    3x-2x-6y-4y+1=0
    x-10y+1=0

    slope intercept is of the form y=mx+b
    multiply out and get y by itself

    -3y=6x+4
    y=-2x-\frac{4}{3}
