    You haven't learned FOIL yet?

    Study what I've done for the first problem and try it on the other two. FOIL stands for "First, Outer, Inner, Last," and it refers to the terms you multiply together.

    \begin{aligned}<br />
(x + 2)(x - 5) &= (x)(x) + (x)(-5) + (2)(x) + (2)(-5) \\<br />
&= x^2 - 5x + 2x - 10 \\<br />
&= x^2 - 3x - 10<br />
\end{aligned}
