Hey guys having trouble re-arranging this equation to solve for x.
$\displaystyle 7.50 = 8.075 + \log\frac{x}{0.0635-x}$
Any help much appreciated! with steps . thank you
$\displaystyle 7.50 = 8.075 + \log\frac{x}{0.0635-x}$
$\displaystyle \log\frac{x}{0.0635-x}=-0.575$
$\displaystyle \frac{x}{0.0635-x}=10^{-0.575}$
$\displaystyle \frac{x}{0.0635-x}=0.266 $
$\displaystyle x=0.0168-0.266x$
$\displaystyle 1.266x=0.0168$
$\displaystyle x=0.0133$
