Consecutive Problem?
The sum of 4 consecutive integers is -38. What are the numbers? Write & solve an equation.

Can someone just help me with the equation? I'd appreciate it :]

Solve x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (x + 3) = -38 for x.

If n is an integer then

$n+(n+1)+(n+2)+(n+3)=-38 \iff 4n+6=-38 \iff 4n=-44 \iff n =-11$

So we get

$-11,-10,-9,-8$

Edit too slow
