    Binomial?

    -(8k-k)+(-k+12)

I'm not even sure if that's a binomial, actually. But, should I set up an equation or something? I'm so confused.

Well, if your asking if this is a binomial or not,

    -(8k-k)+(-k+12)=-8k+12

This is a binonmial after simplification

    Expand and simplify?

     -8k + k - k + 12
     -8k + 12

If we know if it's equal to something it can be solved.
