Hi Everyone
This is for my physics assignment but it is maths
I have a formula n1sin1Ө=n2sin2Ө
Where:
n1 = 1
n2 =?
sin1Ө = 44
sin2Ө = 48
An my answer should be or close to 1.48. I can't get it.
Help would be good.
Thanks.
The range of the sine function is [-1, 1]; meaning, when you take the sine of any angle it's going to be a number between -1 and 1, so to say that
$\displaystyle \sin 1\theta = 44$ and $\displaystyle \sin 2\theta = 48$ is impossible. Can you double-check the assignment and see how exactly the problem is worded?

I think it does...
