Simple roots expression
Not sure how to solve this, the book just shows the answer and not how to solve it.

$6x^2\sqrt{x}$

answer is
$6x^{5/2}$

I though perhaps converting to a fraction would work...
$6x^2 * x^{1/2}$ but thats incorrect it seems.

Thanks

$
6x^2 \cdot x^{\frac{1}{2}}=6x^{2+\frac{1}{2}}=6x^{\frac{5}{2} }

Hi allyourbass2212,

$6x^2 \sqrt{x}=6x^2 \cdot x^{1/2}=6x^{4/2} \cdot x^{1/2}=6x^{5/2}$

Just remember this: $x^a \cdot x^b=x^{a+b}$
