    surd help

    given that $\displaystyle 32\sqrt{2} = 2^a $

    find the value of a.
is it correct to say that a = 11/2

    so $\displaystyle 2^{\frac{11}{2}} $ = $\displaystyle 32\sqrt{2} $ ?
