    surd help

    given that 32\sqrt{2} = 2^a

    find the value of a.
    is it correct to say that a = 11/2

    so 2^{\frac{11}{2}} = 32\sqrt{2} ?

    32\sqrt{2} = 2^5 2^{1/2} = 2^{11/2}
