    Converting a scale on a ruler

    Hello
    i need sum help with this question?
    After checking his ruler Jeremy realises that for every 10cm indicated on the ruler it is 1mm longer. This means that when he measures an objects as 10cm long it is actually 101mm in lenght

    A) if he measured and objects as 33 cm long what was it actual length?

    \begin{aligned}10\ cm&\longrightarrow 101\ mm\\<br />
1\ cm &\longrightarrow \dfrac{101}{10}\ mm \\<br />
33\ cm &\longrightarrow \dfrac{101}{10}\cdot 33\ mm= 333.3\ mm\end{aligned}
