I was just wondering about my day when it came to me that i should solve this equation. But, I have no idea on how to solve it! Can anyone help me?
This will keep me up all night if it's not solved.

$2(x-3)\div7+5=9$

Thank you

Subtract 5 from both sides

$\frac{2(x - 3)}{7} = 4$

Multiply both sides by 7

$2(x - 3) = 28$

Divide both sides by 2

$x - 3 = 14$

$x = 17$.
