The perimeter of a rectangle is 76 inches. The length of the rectangle is 5 more than twice its width. Which equation can be used to find the width? a. w+(2w+5)=76 b. 2[w(2w+5]=76 c. w(2w+5)=76 d. 2[w+(2w+5)]=76

Because the width is w, and length is 2w+5 (5 more than twice the width), and since p=2(w+l), we have 2[w+(2w+5)]=76.
