    Numerical Problem for motion

    Numerical Problem for motion Question:
    A driver of a car travelling at 25m/s needs to quickly reduce the cars speed to 16m/s to round a curve in the highway.If the car deceleration has a magnitude of 60m/s^2.How far does it travel while reducing speed?

    Attempt:

    Using the equation
    s=(vf^2-vi^2)/2a

    s=(625-256)/(2*60)

    s=3.075m

    Am I correct?
