    Smile Calculate percentage of unknown amount

    This is how we do it now:

    Advertised rate is 2800
    Credit card fee is 2% of advertised rate
    Fee A is 102
    Fee B is 85

    Owner net calculated out is 2800-56-85-102= 2557

    I want to be able to let the owner choose his net amount and then add on the additional fees. I don't know how to generate the 2% fee on an amount I don't have yet.

    If an owner says he want his net to be 3000

    3000+85+102+X=Advertised rate

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sheila

    3000+85+102+2%x=x
    0.98x=3187
    x=3252.04
