Does anyone know how to do that calculation? And does Base and Exp have anything to do with it? I have two numbers, 10 and 2 and I get the answer 100 from those numbers.

I am guessing that this is because $\displaystyle 10^2 = 10 \times 10 = 100$

For m any integer and n a positive integer, $\displaystyle m^n$

**means**m multiplied by itself n times: just multiply!

$\displaystyle 3^2= 3(3)= 9$, $\displaystyle 4^3= 4(4)(4)(4)= 64$, $\displaystyle 2^6$= 2(2)(2)(2)(2)(2)= 4(2)(2)(2)(2)= 8(2)(2)(2)= 32(2)(2)= 64(2)= 128.
