    The area of a triangle is
    [tex]A = \frac{1}{2}bh[tex]

    A = \frac{1}{2}(30 \, ft)(20 \, ft) = 300 \, ft^2

    So the cost will be:
    (300 \, ft^2)(3/ft^2) = 900

    So it costs $900.
