just simplify the expression that you have listed

Originally Posted by seders99 just simplify the expression that you have listed Ok, then. $\displaystyle \frac{6}{x-1}+\frac{7}{2}=\frac{(6)(2)+7(x-1)}{2(x-1)}=\frac{12+7x-7}{2(x-1)}=\frac{7x+5}{2(x-1)}$
