Hi seders99,

Is this your problem?

$\frac{6}{x-1}+\frac{7}{2}=\frac{19}{2}$

or are you just simplifying the expression:

$\frac{6}{x-1}+\frac{7}{2}$?

3. just simplify the expression that you have listed

Ok, then.

$\frac{6}{x-1}+\frac{7}{2}=\frac{(6)(2)+7(x-1)}{2(x-1)}=\frac{12+7x-7}{2(x-1)}=\frac{7x+5}{2(x-1)}$
