I have the following formula (see attachment).
How do I rearrange this to get the value of S2?

1. Multiply the equation by $\displaystyle S_2$
2. Add $\displaystyle S_2$ on both sides of the equation
3. Collect the terms with $\displaystyle S_2$ at the RHS of the equation
4. Divide both sides of the equation by 1.0095
5. The final result should be $\displaystyle \dfrac{1000}{673} \approx 1.48588$
Thank you very much for that - I just had an absolute mind block attempting to do that simple calculation (don't ask me why).
If you were interested this equation is a later stage of a longer equation I am using for my international financial management module at university - I know, I should really be able to do this algebra, ha ha.
