Thread: Open ended logarithm question

An answer is given:
x=e to the power of pie (sorry, I don't know how to get the pie symbol here)

Four log operations (product,quotient,power,and change of base) as well as four basic log properties (ex: log 1 base b=0) must be used to get to the answer listed above. In other words, you have to use those properties to create a question with solution to get to the answer mentioned above.
Anyone know how to go about creating the question?

I think you want,
e^ (pi*i)=-1

I found it. Anyways, all you have to do is keep expanding and add random numbers to both sides but make sure that they cancel out. I'll post up the answer eventually, maybe some of you guys will find it interesting. It was pretty simple, just felt wierd to do because you're finding the question rather than the answer.
