Let the high quality pulse be x and the low quality one y. I will also use a basis of one quintal (whatever one is XD)

x = 260, y = 200

$\frac{52y + ax}{52+a} = \frac{300}{1-0.25}$

Since we know x and y it simplifies to:

$\frac{10400 + 260a}{52+a} = 240$

Solve for a which will be the number of high quality needed.

3. "Pulses", by the way, are peas and beans, including soy beans and lentils, some of the most healthy of foods.
