4x-27=10
5x+y=14

17x+2y=42
18+ 2= 2

9x-5y= -18
3x-14 = 6

try different way additon methond

some doesnt come out right can you help

If we take away 27 from four 'x' we got 10 left.
One thing we can do in a expression like this is to add a number to both sides.

so lets add 27

\$\displaystyle 4x - 27 + 27 = 10 + 27\$

remember that we must do the same thing on both sides of the '='

We can do anything, add, substract, divide, multiply, as long as we do it on both sides and don't break any rules (but let's leave that).
