How would i set up a function for this word problem from functions section??
Credit Card Fees A certain credit card company gets 4% of each charge, and the retailer recieves the rest. At the end of a billing period the retailer recieves a statement showing only the retailers portion of each transaction. Express the original amount charged C as a function of the retailer's portion r.

any help looking at this word problem would be appreciated.

any help looking at this word problem would be appreciated.
The credit card company gets 4% of the charge, meaning the retailer gets 96%.
At the end ... showing the 96% of each transaction.
So 96 % of C = r

0.96*C=r

C:=r/0.96

Does that make sense?
