    given that y= -log(-x):

    what is the equation of the inverse function?

    y = -\log(-x)

    You need to express x as a function of y

    \log(-x) = -y

    10^{\log(-x)} = 10^{-y}

    -x = 10^{-y}

    x = -10^{-y}
