I refer to this link zSHARE - basis.jpg where I've uploaded an image of the exercise I'm troubled with.

Could someone please tell me what to do here? I believe there only are few calculations to be made, but I can't simply figure out what to do exactly!

Does your question also tell you what $e_1,e_2,e_3$ and $e_4$ are?
