How to find cube of1.015 using shortcuts and without calci

I'd do it like this . . .

$\left(1 + \frac{15}{10^3}\right)^3 \;=\;1^3 + 3(1^2)\left(\frac{15}{10^3}\right) + 3(1)\left(\frac{15}{10^3}\right)^2 + \left(\frac{15}{10^3}\right)^3$

. . . . . . . . $= \;1 + \frac{45}{10^3} + \frac{675}{10^6} + \frac{3375}{10^9}$

. . . . . . . . $= \;1 + 0.045 + 0.000675 + 0.000003375$

. . . . . . . . $= \;1.045678375$
