    Note the "trick" displayed in the previous reply! When you have to solve for a variable that's in more than one term like that, the "trick" is to factor that variable out of the other terms.

    (This is commonly used to create test questions that cause most students difficulty, which is why I'm pointing this out now. Make sure you keep this in mind for your next test!) :wink:
