    Find Real Roots

    The mark scheme andmy answer. well.......

    18 + 1 = 4
    x^4 x^2

    Multiply both sides by x^4: 18 + x^2 = 4x^4.

    Re-arrange: 4x^4 - x^2 - 18 = 0.

    Factorise: (x^2 + 2) (4x^2 - 9) = 0.

    Solve for x:
