This is not an equation the "x" means times here. Note the question is in basic math section, so it does not yet involve algebra.

First do the parantheses,
$3^4-5\times (10)$
Now do exponents,
$81-5\times 10$
Now do multiplication,
$81-50$
Now you can substract,
$41$

(Note I would like to mention, "order of operations" is not a theorem, it is simply used as a definition. In order to avoid ambiguity).

3x3=9x3=27x3=81
