t = 8(p+q) / pq Make q the subject of the formula. I would like to know how to solve it.

Strategy: - get all terms in q at one side, terms without q at the other site - factorise q and divide both sides by its coefficient. Here's a start: $\displaystyle t = 8\frac{{p + q}}{{pq}} \Leftrightarrow pqt = 8p + 8q \Leftrightarrow pqt - 8q = 8p $
