I dont know how I would solve these questions.

1. Factor 216x^3-27y^3
The answer is suppose to be (6x-3y)(36^2+18xy+9y2)

2.Describe the transformations that were applied to the parents function y=x^3 to create the following graph.

The points of the graph are (-1,-3) and (0,-5)

difference of cubes ... $(6x)^3 - (3y)^3$

factoring pattern is ... $a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)$
