    Fraction equation

    1/m - 1/n

    m = 2/5 n = 3/4

    The correct answer is 1 1/6
    But I would like to know how to solve it.

    Hello,

    \frac{1}{m}-\frac{1}{n}. Plug in the values you know:

    \frac{1}{\frac{2}{5}}-\frac{1}{\frac{3}{4}} =

    \frac{5}{2}-\frac{4}{3}=\frac{3 \cdot 5-2 \cdot 4}{6}=\frac{7}{6}
