    Exponential and Logarithm Functions

    Can anyone help me solve these functions as I don't really know where to start with them. Thanks.

    log2(1/16) =

    if 2^6 = 64 , then \log_2(64) = ?


    following that same idea ...

    2^{-4} = \frac{1}{16}

    Logarithm can be defined as the inverse to the exponential function:
    log_b(b^x)= x.
    64= 2^6 and 1/16= 2^{-4}.
