    Y-intercept means the value of y when x = 0
    Put x =0 , y = 5/2
    ----------------------------
    For an equation

    ax+by = c

    ax/c + by/c = 1

    c/a = x intercept

    c/b = y intercept

To find the y-intercept for any such equation, just plug "0" in for "x", and solve.
