    What does this sign mean?

I'm not really sure if this falls under this catagory, even though it is kinda urgent, but my question is this:

What does this sign mean: =>? Basically it's an equals(=) sign with a less/greater than sign (>) connected.

What does it mean and what is its name?

    Thanx!

This could mean a couple of things. If someone wasn't able to type the greater than or equals sign, like so ( \ge), then they might type => instead. It can also mean something like "implies". I have seen this written as -> and =>. Those are the two things I think of when I see this symbol. If you give us a specific problem where this symbol occurs, I or someone else might be able to help you more.
