    A fraction question

in 5 minutes, John completed 2 math problems. Paul said he did 3/5 of a problem each minute. Is he correct? Explain.

2 of us are disagreeing over the answer - as well as the explanation.

Would anyone be so kind as to provide the answer? Thank ou.

    \left(\frac{3}{5}\right) \frac{problems}{minute} \times 5 \, minutes = 3 \, problems
